What do you receive?

Each business selected to participate in the Post & Print Featured Advertiser Program will receive; free Post & Print Featured advertising within participants primary market area (as determined by participant's postal code) including business name, address, one business logo image and URL link to your business website (if applicable).

To be considered for the Sponsor Incentive Program you and your business must:

Tack-it may perform a participation review at any time for any participant of this Post & Print Featured Advertiser program. Following any review, Tack-it in its' sole discretion, may continue or cancel any participant advertising in conjunction with this program.

What benefits do I receive as a "Featured Location"? - As a "Featured Location" your business will receive greater visual presence. Users seeking local businesses that provide free community posting boards will see "Featured" locations first. Featured locations receive the benefit of having their logo displayed along with having the logo and your business name linked to your web page.

As an added bonus some approved participants will also receive Tack-it^® Post & Print^® blank posting cards free of charge. These cards come customized with your business logo and ready for your customers to use on your community posting board. Our cards are sized to fit most slotted boards or simply be pinned to your community board.

Who may participate? - Any business that provides a community posting board free to the general public may submit a request to be listed as a "Featured Location". Not all requests are granted. Space is limited.

Featured Location vs. general listing? - Post & Print^® Featured locations benefit from added visual presence as noted above. All other locations that are indicated as providing community posting boards available to the general public are listed in simple format.

What is the cost? - Post & Print^® Featured location participation is free of charge. The minimal requirements are that you submit a request form, that your request is approved by Tack-it^®, that your business location(s) provide a free community posting board and that you allow Tack-it^® postings. If your approved request also includes free blank posting cards, these cards must be made readily available to your customers free of charge.

How do I participate? - To become a Featured location simply submit your request for approval. Remember not all requests are granted. Tack-it limits the number of participants within geographic areas in an effort to maintain the Featured advertisers presence.

What period of time will I receive free Featured advertising? - Approved participants will continue to receive the Featured advertising and cards for a non-specific period of time. Tack-it does not specify any expiration time or renewal time and participants continue to receive these benefits as long as they continue to meet the guidelines of the program or until such time that Tack-it deems otherwise.

My business is already listed, can I upgrade to the 'Featured' section? - Yes. If your business is already noted in the general listing you can submit the above request form. Not all requests are approved.

Must I provide a community posting board? - Yes. Only businesses that provide community posting boards free to the general public will be considered for the Featured location program or listed in any form on the Post & Print map page.

Can I set restrictions to the use of my community board? - Yes. Many business locations set restrictions, guidelines or preferences to the use of their community posting board. These are displayed to our users in the note section of your listing. Examples include; pet stores only allow non-merchandise postings like puppies or other live animals, auto repair shops only allow auto postings, animal shelters noting loose change donations appreciated and garden supply stores allowing all postings except items sold within the store. Restrictions can also be made with regards to size of postings allowed. The Post & Print classified tool allows our users to conveniently print their on-line postings into three sizes; small (appx. 3 1/2" x 5"), medium (5 1/2" x 8 1/2"), and large (8 1/2" x 11"). You may also set restrictions to only allow postings created on Tack-it using the Post & Print feature.

Are there limits to the # of featured participants? - Yes. Tack-it limits the number of Post & Print Featured participants within geographic areas in an effort to maintain the Featured advertisers presence. There are no limits to the number of locations listed in the basic section as these are all shared by other users.

Can changes be made to my Featured location listing and by whom? - Yes. Anyone named in the original participation request or later added to the list may submit for changes.

What are the free blank community posting board cards? - Select participants of the Post & Print Featured locations will receive blank posting cards free of charge. The cards are printed in full color on heavy paper stock and include your business logo/name along with the Tack-it and Post & Print names. The cards provide space for customers to conveniently write items they may have for sale without ever visiting the Tack-it web site. These cards are sized at 3 1/2" by 5" and fit many slotted community boards or simply pinned to cork boards. Cards are available either loose or in pad form which can be hung easily at your board for customer use.
