Register
The first step to posting your classified ad is to register a Tack-it user account. Registration is quick and easy and only requires minimal information. Take time to read through the Terms & Conditions as they contain information you will need to know when creating and posting classified ads on Tack-it.
Select Run Time
Select the number of weeks you would like your posting to display. You may choose from 1 to 4 weeks. Unlimited renewals are allowed. Renewal reminders will be emailed to you prior to and just following a expiration of a posting. Renewals are completed simply by selecting the number of weeks to renew a posting from your account manager page.
Choose a Category
Determine which of the 24 categories to place your classified. An example list will be displayed when you choose a category. Use this list to help determine the most appropriate category.
Complete Content of Classified Posting
At this point you will need to complete the remaining fields. The number and type of fields vary depending on the category you intend to place your posting in. Take care in wording your Main Title. Try only to describe your postings primary features. Leave the added information for the Detailed Description field.
Review the Posting
Once you have completed all fields please take time to review your posting. Unclear details, misspelled words and other inconsistencies will only detract from your posting.
Upload Picture
Pictures are not required but recommended as they draw more attention to your posting. Tack-it allows up to 4 images to be uploaded with each classified posting. There are no costs associated with uploading images. We accept either JPG or PNG format pictures. Most digital cameras use one of these two formats. If your image is not a JPG or PNG, you will first need to save the picture in either of those formats prior to uploading them. If your picture is not ready, it may be uploaded and attached to your posting at a later time.
When uploading a JPG or PNG image Tack-it's system will automatically adjust the image size to fit your posting.
Making Changes
Once your classified is posted you do have the ability to return and make any necessary changes. You also can place the posting on 'Hold', 'Sold' or 'Delete'.

With Post & Print® our users are not restricted by the number of web visits alone.
Post & Print® is a patent pending service that provides our users with two unique features: the ability to print customized ads directly from your online classified ads with a few simple clicks of the mouse, plus an interactive map listing local businesses that provide community posting boards where you can display your printed ad.
Watch for the Post & Print® button as shown below. It is available to all those registered accounts for personal use and located within each of your posted classifieds. Click the Post & Print® button to open the free customized printing feature.
To access the interactive map click the Interactive Map button located in the top menu bar.
Please take time to visit the local businesses that sponsor the classified postings in your area. Also remember to check back often as our classified postings are always changing as are the offers by your community businesses. Watch for our 'Featured' sponsors, these special sponsors change weekly.
